As Head of Communications, I was responsible for coordinating interviews, public relations, copywriting, and stakeholder relations. I worked with non-profit organizations and Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to find interviewees, host families, and shooting locations. Throughout the production I wrote copy to help garner interest from potential interviewees and press releases to help market the film. I as well worked with an external legal team to draft material, location, and appearance release forms. Over the summer of 2023 we were able to interview multiple host families, immigration support providers, and over 50 Ukrainian refugees. During the interviews, I acted as a Production Assistant to the crew. Voices premiered in Richmond Hill on October 5th, 2023 and has since been selected for numerous film festivals globally.

As the producer for TEDxWesternU: Rising Phoenix I had the opportunity to help share impactful ideas and empower individuals to spark positive change within our community. The live event took place on February 2nd, 2024 and showcased 12 extraordinary speakers as well as addresses from the presidents of both Huron University and Western. I oversaw all production logistics and acted as a liaison between the organizing team and our many stakeholders. My role included the organization of venue selection, lighting and broadcast equipment, A/V services, insurance and more. I worked closely with the TEDx financial team, Western University's conference services, and our third-party stakeholders to help realize the creative director's vision in an efficient and practical manner. Leading the event-day production I directed all backstage operations. On comms with the creative director, camera operators, and audio technicians, I supervised production assistants and ensured all creative aspects of the event ran smoothly. Along with the help of the broader team we were able to deliver an inspiring and unforgettable TEDx experience.

Kino: The Western Undergraduate Journal of Film Studies is a student-run publication that serves to exhibit the best of film theory and critique as written by undergraduate students at Western University. In the 2022-2023 edition my paper, "Exploring Truffaut’s Predictions through Visual and Thematic Form in Fahrenheit 451", was published alongside 6 other student works. My paper was selected from a pool of 50 submissions for publication and serves to represent the Film Studies department at Western. The essay explores the way that Fahrenheit 451 (1966) relates to contemporary society. I examine both narrative and formal themes of the film to show that Truffaut's film acts as a warning for the very state in which we find ourselves today. Referencing the 2020 United States Presidential Election, my paper focuses on the influence and effectiveness of social compliance through manipulative media tactics.
